[SC] Ten Years Ahead [Genesis + Clovis]
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
It had been about a year or so since Genesis disappeared with Vergil. Genesis couldn't tell. He had stopped watching the time since his Meister had gone away from him. With a mission ending in failure, he couldn't bring himself to return to Shibusen, seeing that it was a losing battle.
Yet, he did see Vergil while he roamed. And it was then he decided that it was time to see what he could do in the war once more.
He thought about who to see first there on the other side. He didn't want to see Date again just yet as it wasn't sure if he was really going to contribute to the battle on Shibusen's side once more. Near, to him, was a little more like a business partner than a trusted friend most of the time. Which... perhaps left only one person.
Clovis.

Near, to him, was a little more like a business partner than a trusted friend most of the time. Which... perhaps left only one person.
Clovis.

"A job?" He hummed. "There is plenty that is needed in Shibusen. I'm certain that you can find anything." And one that is far away from the battlefield. A slight pause as he took Genesis's hand to slip the ring on first. The conversation, or rather whatever else he would say, it died as he stared at the ring in place.
His face warmed a little before he could not stop himself. He leaned up to Genesis, his hands set on the man's chest to steady himself, as he whispered into his ear. "I know that we are not finished, and there is a lot to discuss still, but can we go back?" His grip on his love's shirt tightened just a little as he finished his question.

"Very well, then. Let us go."
He smiled and whisked his beloved off back to the apartment. Should he call it theirs? Was this their home now? He could probably ask these questions later-- but for now, there was only the need to find out Clovis' need to return home.

It was not the same voice as the one that had brought him so discomfort as it was one that was trying to remind him not to be so much into the wish to taste more of what Genesis had offered before. He made a soft noise into his hand, but shook his head without looking up in case he had been looked at that time.
"All things should be in moderation, shouldn't they?" He finally asked aloud, unable to keep himself from asking now.

"The wise would recommend that. But I believe that there are some things that do deserve a touch of excess," Genesis chuckled, pulling Clovis a little closer now as they stopped before the room to their apartment.
"Tell me what you need when we come in?"

Still, he couldn't not tell him. They were promised to one another. Even if those were shameful thoughts -- his hands lightly wrapped his arms around his waist to draw himself closer still -- it would be all right to tell him. "Mmn, yes, I will." Clovis nodded once, leaning up to kiss Genesis lightly.

He opened the door and let them both in. Immediately, he shut the door behind them, locking it.

"It's strange, but when I saw the ring on your finger," Clovis let out a soft sigh -- calming himself -- before continuing, "I would -- no, you should have me, again." He flipped his hair over his shoulder, as he felt that he should sound a little more sure of himself. If he continued to sound so gentle, so weak, it would end up annoying even his own sensibilities. Even if he wasn't experienced, even if he was scared of his own actions, he should at least have some conviction in them.

"I can't say no to an order like that from my prince... no..." he leaned in close enough for their lips to lightly brush once.
"My kitten," with that his teeth lightly caught on to Clovis' lower lip for a moment before pressing in for a deep, almost torrid kiss.
