[SC] Ten Years Ahead [Genesis + Clovis]
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
It had been about a year or so since Genesis disappeared with Vergil. Genesis couldn't tell. He had stopped watching the time since his Meister had gone away from him. With a mission ending in failure, he couldn't bring himself to return to Shibusen, seeing that it was a losing battle.
Yet, he did see Vergil while he roamed. And it was then he decided that it was time to see what he could do in the war once more.
He thought about who to see first there on the other side. He didn't want to see Date again just yet as it wasn't sure if he was really going to contribute to the battle on Shibusen's side once more. Near, to him, was a little more like a business partner than a trusted friend most of the time. Which... perhaps left only one person.
Clovis.

Near, to him, was a little more like a business partner than a trusted friend most of the time. Which... perhaps left only one person.
Clovis.

As Clovis asked his question, though, Genesis couldn't help but feel a strange warmth come over him. Sharing a bed with Clovis at night-- a place where he finally belonged. He couldn't ask for anything more.
"Yes. Yes, it will be. I will live with you."

"Thank you." Clovis was surprised that he said as much aloud and elaborated. "Thank you for loving me back. I know that it seems silly to thank you for such, but I really do not know what to do with the feelings that I have." A brief pause. "At least until I am done."

"Did you have something in mind, my kitten?"

Ah, being able to say such things already, he was surprised. Had he been repressed for that long? All those little thoughts and things that would strangle him for even hitting impropriety, they were silenced and allowed him the chance to breathe a little easier.

"Are you really happy with me?" How funny. For someone like him who had so much confidence. "That is ... I won't be able to carry on your bloodline." His words stumbled over one another, as he lowered his gaze now, embarrassed to having brought something of the sort up. Something, he should have brought up much sooner, really.

"I never really gave it mind. Nor did I really care," he cupped Clovis' cheek tenderly. "My bloodline would be cursed with the cells to threaten my world. And I don't want that to happen."
no subject
His head lifted a little, surprised at that comment. "Cursed?" Nothing about you could be cursed.

"For you, I will never let myself become that. But... you, are you alright not carrying on your royal bloodline?"
no subject
"I have seventeen brothers and sisters." While they were not present, it did not matter. He knew that they would carry on where they were, because they were strong. Because, he could not see the Imperial Family falling any time soon. "The royal bloodline will be carried out regardless.
Furthermore, I had already said that I have given up my title and position, hadn't I?" His grip tightened just a little. "So I can only be yours."
no subject
He chuckled and shifted just a little.
"I'll need to eat a little more, though, so I can hold you stronger." Honestly, the soup wasn't enough. Genesis needed more meat in his system lest he lose his muscle. "But Goddess-- I can't take my hands off you, Clovis."
no subject
He did pull back to cover his face, then, embarrassed. "Oh, I hadn't been thinking. I can go and get something more for you." A pause, but he was able to keep himself staring at Genesis this time instead of looking away as before. "It's the same for me. I don't want you to stop touching me."
no subject
"Then I promise I'll keep touching you-- I'll touch you all over again once I'm full."

"You have no idea how much you telling me that makes me want you even more. I'm sure you'll drive me crazy once you show me what you say..."
no subject
"Ah." Once more his hands came to cover his face in embarrassment. This sounded like something that Bartley would say to him, trying too hard to please. It was the same sort of feeling though, wanting very much to please and ensure Genesis's happiness.

With that said, Genesis slid off the bed, still fully naked and moved around to pick up his clothes and get dressed. Walking around, he replayed the moments of the confession in his head-- their vows, the way he got Clovis to undress and how he himself did so before him. It made his cheeks warm.
"I believe I should buy more clothes, too. Unless you have anything to say about that," he chuckles.

"So it would be a complete outing for us, then?" His hands clapped lightly together once, then. Realizing the childishness of his action, his hands lowered back down to his lap instead. "It's ridiculous... how happy I am to spend any time with you. To be able to be with you in any way, despite being with you right now."
no subject
"You know... I have that same ridiculous feeling, too."
