[SC] Ten Years Ahead [Genesis + Clovis]
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
It had been about a year or so since Genesis disappeared with Vergil. Genesis couldn't tell. He had stopped watching the time since his Meister had gone away from him. With a mission ending in failure, he couldn't bring himself to return to Shibusen, seeing that it was a losing battle.
Yet, he did see Vergil while he roamed. And it was then he decided that it was time to see what he could do in the war once more.
He thought about who to see first there on the other side. He didn't want to see Date again just yet as it wasn't sure if he was really going to contribute to the battle on Shibusen's side once more. Near, to him, was a little more like a business partner than a trusted friend most of the time. Which... perhaps left only one person.
Clovis.

Near, to him, was a little more like a business partner than a trusted friend most of the time. Which... perhaps left only one person.
Clovis.

His mouth suddenly feeling dry as his own movements began to quicken just a little more in anticipation, in want. He wanted to say something -- some form of acceptance or declaration of love -- but found that his words were once more stolen from him. Those burning feelings within his chest burned through his entire body warming and driving him closer to his own release.
It did give him a sense of solace and safety to be so close to Genesis. His eyes widening, he buried his face into the crook of the man's neck where it met shoulder. Without thinking, he bit into the skin, yet still unable to find any reprieve to his cries, only muffling them slightly. The rush of his own climax took him, stilling his motions even though he felt somewhere in his haze that he still wanted to move. Nails digging deep into his love's back, leaving a few marks, before he finally loosened his grip.

It felt good-- terribly good to be like this: his body so close to Clovis' own, his heartbeat racing-- filling his senses with the sound of its thumping. He knew how it felt to be inside of another-- to release inside of another and bring the other to their climax as well. But this was different.
They had vows. They were promised to each other. The act was more than a purging for the lust in his loins or for the feelings he had long denied in his heart. This was the beginning of a life lived not alone-- a life with his beloved. Slowly, Genesis moved his hands away from Clovis' thighs and moved up, to touch his arms, leading them away from his back so he may hold his hands and twine their fingers.
"Clovis."

A soft cry of distress before laying a few kisses over the bite, drawing his tongue over it to ease whatever pain might be there, before looking to the man. His breathing had not actually evened out just yet, still coming out in bursts. He swallowed a few times before he found he was able to speak. "I'm sorry. Did that hurt?"
He pressed his face close to Genesis as before, nuzzling he side of his face. "I gave into such, I did not realize that I had something of that sort in me." Years of being repressed, he simply was surprised at himself. There was indeed a part of him that wanted to pull away to cover his face and just wallow in the shame of giving into such desires and lust -- continue to beg until he was forgiven for his impropriety. Yet he somehow was able to keep himself from doing so.

"No, it doesn't hurt at all. You don't have to worry about it." Genesis murmured. With that, he turned about so the prince could rest on top of him. He was still inside of Clovis, which would have probably made the other shiver at the feeling of fullness in him. But soon, he gently pulled out, watching Clovis all the while.
He had such a beautiful spouse.
"... beautiful." He let the thought slip into his words as he ran a hand through the silky golden locks. He had always dreamed of doing this-- even restrained himself from such a show of affection for so long. It was an incredible relief to finally do this now.

"I'm so glad that I did not bring you any sort of pain." Clovis could feel the last of his niggling neurotic behavior fade away -- how it could it remain in the light of everything that he done. He looked away for a moment, letting his gaze slip off to the rumpled sheets, and pressed his lips together. "My teacher does know so much more than I." He returned to what he believed teasing during, happy to be able to finally be able to speak calmly.
"Yes, you are mine, too." Moving his hands back, he rested his head down onto Genesis's chest to listen to his heart as his hands laid underneath his chin. Curling in against him, he was allowing exhaustion to take hold of him so that he could sleep. Clovis smiled to himself against the skin. "This is how I dreamed of us. Resting like this." His head moved a bit to get just a little more comfortable. "I feel so safe and loved."
no subject
"Safe and loved... those are the words I should be saying to you," Genesis murmured, leaning forward a little to brush his lips against his hair. "I've longed for this for a while, too. Yet I never would have thought I could find it with you." At that, he moved his other arm around Clovis' body, keeping the smaller body against his own.
With a breath, he began to murmur, as if finding the lines fitting for the night--
When the war of the beasts brings about the world's end
The goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting
Bright blue eyes passed over the form of the prince resting his head upon his heart. After all these years, he had finally found that gift of bliss-- something everlasting. Quietly then, he reached for a blanket with one hand, and drew the covers over them so they could rest well.
When the morning comes, Genesis hopes that all wasn't an illusion created by the madness. Although he is very sure that it wasn't. But the thought makes him hold Clovis a little more firmly, wanting to safeguard the gift the goddess had granted him.

Of course, sleep does disappear as soon as hunger invades it. His eyes open with a soft sigh as he wondered how long it would be before his stomach would start to growl. Clovis did tip his head up to look at Genesis, still holding him, sill giving him that safety and warmth of before. It was not a-- Of course, it could not have been a dream. The prince would not have had such thoughts before.
His body still felt just a little heavy, still lovely. He closed his eyes as he allowed himself to remember those times. His face turning a little red in turn as his hand came to cover his mouth. I was ... good for him ... wasn't I? As before, his finger slipped into his mouth to lightly chew on it nervously, feeling suddenly very young.
Of course, he slipped it out as he let himself smile once more. Pressing a kiss over Genesis's heart, he did not want to start new neurotic tendencies about how he was for him. That probably would not endear him much, and would be terribly embarrassing to ask. Biting his bottom lip, he wondered how he could get up so that he could find something to eat without waking the other. Perhaps, I could even bring something to Genesis. He perked up just a little, happy with this thought, as he gently moved the other's arm so that he could try to slip out of bed.

Despite this, though, there were some things Genesis body couldn't help. While Clovis ponders on what to do, there seemed to be a loud rumble between their bodies: Genesis' empty stomach.
Even so, he still continued to sleep deeply and soundly, strangely undisturbed by his own hunger. Perhaps this was some bad habit he picked up over the course of his disappearance from Shibusen.

A small voice in the back of his head began telling him that he should feel unsightly and terrible for such a response. He really thought those thoughts were done as he pushed himself up to go clean himself in the bathroom first -- pulling a new outfit from the closet on his way.
The shower was quick as his stomach continued to make a few sad noises and his own wish to wanting to make something for Genesis continued humming in his head. Tugging his clothes on, he peeked out of the bathroom to check to ensure that Genesis was still sleeping soundly, before he did head toward the door to leave.

Clovis--
His eyes flew open, his arm reaching, as if trying to grab hold of his beloved and only feeling nothing in his stead. He paused just then, feeling just a touch melancholy as he woke up alone. Looking around the room, though, he knew that it wasn't all an illusion. He was definitely in the other man's quarters. He sat up and took a look around.
Clothes strewn on the floor, the almost-empty bottle of safflower oil standing on the bedside table, and that lingering scent of Clovis on the sheets, in the air and on his own skin. No. There were no illusions here. But he wondered-- to where did his beloved go?
Before he could move, though, a shot of pain lashed out from his gut as it grumbled.
He needed to eat something so he could move.

It did take some doing to prop the door open, but he did so and carefully tugged it closed after him. He looked up to see that Genesis had awakened and allowed a moment of sorrow to slip onto his features. Clovis had been hoping to surprise him, but it seemed like the surprise was just a little ruined. "You're up." Shaking his head a little, he smiled fondly before returning to his side. "I did go a little overboard, but I thought that we could have dinner together." It was what he would once call a poor man's meal as he set it carefully on the bed.
Catching the apple before it rolled too far, he held it out to Genesis first. Of course, as soon as he did, the insecurity of if he was when he was with him returned to his mind. Pressing his lips together, he looked away, but continued to hold the fruit out to him.

Now, Genesis had propped his body up against the headboard and some pillows. He didn't have the energy to get out of bed and dress up, so there he was, hiding the rest of his naked self under the covers. He watched how Clovis' acted and noticed how he suddenly seemed to turn shy.
When he reached out to take the apple then, he first reached out to brush a finger over the apple of Clovis' cheek. Beautiful. That single touch alone brought to mind what they did earlier that night-- the vows, the way the Prince both surrendered and conquered him with overwhelming love-- it almost wanted to make Genesis turn away with a blush on his cheeks as well. Instead, his skin seemed to give a faint glow of warmth, enamored by the man before him.
"Let's eat, then?"
no subject
His fingers drummed on his chin, as it merely seemed like something that he should say. He wondered what it was that he should say or what it was that he could ask. His thoughts are, thankfully, interrupted by the touch against his cheek. Eyes widening for a second, he focused in on staring at Genesis. Clovis was still hungry, yes, but he couldn't stop himself from reaching out to touch where he had bitten his love. His head gave a little tilt before he leaned in to once more kiss the top of the bruise.
Looking back up to him, he nodded once to the question that they should eat. But not before allowing another soft touch to what he had done, staring at it in a forlorn manner. It did take a few seconds before he noticed that he had forgotten to bring something for them to drink as well. "Oh, I should go and get something of that nature, shouldn't I?" He mumbled aloud, sharing his thoughts. Of course, he didn't want to leave the other at that time.
Because, we're promised to each other. Because, he's... The thought didn't finish as he already felt a little embarrassed to want to monopolize all of Genesis for himself. That sounded so selfish, but he supposed -- knew -- that just how it was. He wrapped his arm lightly around the man's neck, pulling himself in close, so that he could rest his head on his shoulder while the other ate. Not quite ready to leave or eat himself. Even disregarding the comment of going to get something to drink to just be as close as he could be with him.

He brought the fruit close to Clovis, offering it to him, not shy about sharing his meal with him now that they were promised to each other. It was a comforting thing-- the sense of ownership over the Prince, and the safety he felt in their commitment to each other. Finally, he felt sure of something. It was the best sanctuary after all the time he spent exposed to the Madness Wave.
Not even Genesis minded that Clovis chose to keep close to him rather than move to get them drinks. It could wait until later. Until then, he would enjoy this-- the sight of the prince, pooled in his lap, in his arms, perfectly like a golden kitten.
It brought a smile to his face. And he moved to brush a strand of hair from the younger man's face.
"Kitten."

Truly, he was certain that they were breathtaking (if his own noises of before were any indication) with one another and such an analogy suited his needs nicely. His dear Genesis being the artist and bringing about -- his face turned a little red as he was surprising himself with these sort of thoughts. Even if he had kept any and all thoughts of this nature locked away, he wondered if it was really all right to have them all slip out at once.
Taking the apple from Genesis, he stared at it for a moment. He thought of taking a bite off to the side rather than where his love had, but decided to continue on the same path that was taken by the other instead. An indirect sort of kiss, before it was handed back. Being held, being cherished, it was more than he could really hope for and wondered why he had not said any of this sooner. Kitten.
He smiled fondly at the endearment. "My dear knight." A pause, weighted. His lips pressed together and felt that he could not keep anything from the one that he promised himself to, the one who owns his heart. "I hope that you will not compare me to anyone else."
no subject
He let the fingers of one hand gently twine in the other's hair, fond-- so very fond. "You know, I actually liked it when you set your teeth on my skin. It's thrilling. I know the act isn't that romantic-- but I guess I could call it passionate. After all, you've left this on me. It's like marking me as yours."
And just as well, he did leave a few, small marks around Clovis' neck and shoulders.
"You're incomparable, Clovis." He pressed a kiss to his forehead. "How I feel with you-- I can't match with anyone else."
Of course, bed technique was a different area. But Genesis found it pointless to even compare. He couldn't even remember who was the last person he slept with before Clovis.
no subject
A childish notion, but one that he was clinging onto venomously. "It really has nothing to do with being a prince or anything as it does that ... I simply never saw myself as something lustful and do not wish for you to, either." The connotations of which were simply too troubling -- that he was only with Genesis for his looks or body. No, what he loved was his soul. And his own soul was already marked as Genesis's the moment that he was able to tell him all his feelings.
"Incomparable." He parroted, dumbly.
That brought insurmountable relief to him -- the kiss had helped as well. His hands came to rest on either side of Genesis's face so that he could draw him close for a kiss. Deeply, wanting to have even more of the taste of the apple shared with him.

Goddess...
He was very certain Clovis would drive him mad with the kind of affection he had for him-- it was almost as if they truly couldn't take their hands off from each other. And indeed, Genesis hands were doing just that, moving underneath Clovis' shirt, caressing the soft skin he remembered so well from their first coupling a few hours ago.
If he didn't break away soon, he supposed, they might forgo dinner once more in favor of other bodily delights. Yet-- no. Clovis didn't want to be seen as lustful. He wanted to be a romantic to the very end. Genesis was far too comfortable with the concept of lust to consider romance in his actions. But perhaps... perhaps he could sweeten them for Clovis-- endear every lustful gesture with a pinch of dream-like romance.

"I suppose my relief at being such to you allowed me to remember other issues." Still, he could not help but be a little embarrassed at its interruption. He let out an exasperated sigh this time, but realized that it was probably for the best. If he did continue as he was, he would simply stay in bed forever with Genesis. The war would have to do without them, and he laughed softly at the thought.
Realizing his laughter, he shared what it was that he was concerned with -- reaching to pick up some of the bread that he brought to satisfy his poor, neglected hunger. "I was merely thinking that I may not be able to leave this room if you are in it." He looked away as it sounded funnier in his head, but saying it aloud made him feel suddenly shy.
no subject
"Really now?" Genesis grinned as he leaned in to bite one end of the bread that Clovis picked up. "I don't see anything wrong with that... save that we do need to eat every once in a while."
no subject
"I see just a little harm in it as I have small duties that I have to carry out now." His laugh returned to the end of his words, lightly chiding Genesis for thinking it fine to -- he allowed his blush to spread. More shyness showing itself despite his wanting it to be. "Besides, I do not know what other sides of myself would begin to show if I were to take you up on such an offer."
no subject
"Hm? Other sides of yourself, Clovis?" There was a playful gleam in Genesis' eyes just then: "Looks like there's a lot of exploring for me to do."
no subject
"Eh?" The bread hung from his mouth before he took hold of it again a few seconds later when he turned to stare at Genesis. Surprised at what he had said. "But I ... I don't know what they are." Even if it was a joke, it was also the truth.
no subject
"We'll explore together. Both you and me. I'm certain that there are some parts of me I have yet to realize, too."
He reached over to the tray to pick up the other piece of bread for himself.
no subject
Realizing his silence would give the wrong impression, he turned to Genesis to explain. "I was just thinking on those different sides of myself. I suppose that I should want to share all of them with you." A beat. "No, I should. But I was wondering where to begin. Do I tell you of my thoughts?" His injured finger went into his mouth to lightly suck on while he waited for his love's reply.
